Steve Smith
President and CEO
Steve Smith is the President and CEO of GeoComfort. He is an advocate for the geothermal industry, serving as a member of the Geothermal Exchange Organization, participating in speaking engagements, and sharing his expertise in articles. His favorite place to be is in the field helping with an installation. Steve enjoys spending time with family, tackling projects on the family farm, riding his motorcycle, and snow and water skiing.
Dan Jackson
VP of Operations
Dan Jackson is the Vice President of Operations and oversees GeoComfort’s manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and engineering departments. His career in HVAC began in 1990 working with large industrial chillers and boilers. He also has almost 30 years of manufacturing experience. In his down time, Dan enjoys traveling with his wife, working on muscle cars, waterskiing, wakeboarding, and snowboarding.
Bradley Lanter
CFO
Bradley W. Lanter is the Chief Financial Officer at GeoComfort. He is responsible for overall financial management, strategic planning, financial reporting, and lends direction to, and is responsible for, oversight of the I.T. department. He enjoys traveling, spending time with his wife and two kids, and playing just about any sport.
Jeff Hammond
VP of Technical Services

Jeff Hammond is Vice President of Technical Services at GeoComfort. He is responsible for GeoComfort’s technical services and training departments, design services, and technical literature. He serves on IGSHPA and CSA committees, and is a member of ASHRAE. Jeff enjoys home improvement projects, traveling with his family, and learning about new technologies.

Tim Wright
VP of Sales
Tim Wright is the VP of Sales and oversees the company’s customer solutions and sales departments. Tim serves on the board of directors for California Geothermal Heat Pump Association and the Virginia Geothermal Heat Pump Association. Tim enjoys taking walks with his wife and being an active member at his church.
Maurice Powers
IT Director
Maurice Powers is the IT Director at GeoComfort. He manages IT systems and various IT projects to help streamline work for employees and customers, so they can better serve end users of GeoComfort geothermal heat pumps. In his downtime, Maurice enjoys traveling, meeting people, fishing, scuba diving, and taking walks with his family.
Jason Bronson
Controller

Jason Bronson is the Controller at GeoComfort. His duties include budgeting, forecasting, and essentially knowing the ins and outs of many parts of the company. In his free time, you'll find Jason watching Cardinals games and spending time with his family. 

Territory Managers

Ed Davis
Residential Sales Manager
Ed Davis is the Residential Sales Manager at GeoComfort. He oversees our geothermal installers, manages accounts, and provides product and application support in Eastern Missouri and Western Illinois, and distribution support in Iowa. Ed enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and loves a good fishing trip.
Andy Leiter
Territory manager
Andy Leiter is the Territory Manager for Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Northern Iowa. He is a prior contractor with vast knowledge in many aspects of the HVAC industry, spending the last 14 years working exclusively with geothermal designs and installations. Outside of work, Andy enjoys spending time with his family, along with snowmobiling, boating, skiing, and watching sports.
Brian Pitcher
Territory Manager
Brian is the Territory Manager for Illinois. He is focused on growing GeoComfort's footprint in his home state through customer focused support. He enjoys spending time with his wife, watching their two small boys play baseball and soccer, and spending time with family and friends. In his down time he likes to hunt, watch football, work on classic cars, and work around the house.

Dave is a Territory Manager for GeoComfort. He has 17 years of industry experience and is passionate for the product, our customers, and working alongside a team of dedicated geothermal professionals. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his family and wife of 40 years, and a good round of golf. He’s also a Corvette enthusiast, and loves his dog, Beatrice.
Jeff Lawrence
Director of Commercial Accounts

Jeff Lawrence is GeoComfort's Director of Commercial Accounts. He assists geothermal installers and commercial representatives. In his down time, Jeff can be found with his family and their family racing team. 

Jim Cusack
Territory Manager

Jim Cusack is a Territory Manager and certified geothermal trainer for GeoComfort. His territory includes Minnesota, Wisconsin, Northern Iowa, and Northern Illinois. He is a certified, IGSHPA accredited, geothermal trainer and installer, and he is the VP of the Minnesota Geothermal Heat Pump Association. Jim enjoys spending time with his wife, Chris, and their two dogs, Simon and Schuster.

Justin Jobe
Territory Manager

Justin Jobe is the Territory Manager for parts of the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest. He supports geothermal contractors with installation of geothermal systems, preparing quotes and orders, etc. Justin enjoys watching motor sports and football games and doing his wife’s bidding for the hobby farm they have started together with their son, Paxton (16), and daughter, Berkley (11).

Ron Wright
Regional Sales Manager - Canada

Ron Wright is the Regional Sales Manager in Canada and operates by the philosophy that our customers are our everything. Ron is happily married to his best friend, Natasha. Together, they have three sons and one daughter.  Ron is a sports nut, with his favorite sports being hockey, lacrosse, baseball, football, and auto racing.

Scott Jarrell
Territory Manager

Scott Jarrell is a Territory Manager for GeoComfort. He focuses on growing the industry by supporting new and existing customers to ensure they have the tools available that allows them to grow in their markets. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, kayak fishing, and is involved in his church.

Mallory Fohne
Marketing Director

Mallory Fohne is the Marketing Communications Coordinator at GeoComfort. She creates content to help home and building owners and contractors learn more about geothermal. Mallory enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter, forcing her dog to go on walks, eating pizza and ice cream, and snow and water skiing.

Bryson Buehrer
Senior Content Creator
Bryson Buehrer is the Senior Content Creator at GeoComfort. He creates content and manages marketing strategies all to assist home and building owners in making the right choice with geothermal. Bryson loves all things Sci-Fi, backpacking trips, playing music, creative photography, and anything that keeps him curious.
Carley Fletcher
Marketing and Events Specialist

Carley Fletcher is part of the Marketing and Inside Sales team at GeoComfort. Her day-to-day duties include content creation to help home and building owners understand the combined benefits of geothermal and PV solar, PV solar sales, and general marketing duties. She enjoys traveling and creating new memories with her family and friends.

Creative Lead

Pancho Eppard is the Creative Lead at GeoComfort. He provides creative direction for marketing print publications, front-end design for web, as well as photography and videography. Pancho has a passion for art and enjoys living in Greenville with his wife, Emma, and three kids, Philip, Layla, and Parker.

Brian Wasmuth
Customer Solutions Manager

Brian Wasmuth is the Customer Solutions Manager at GeoComfort, and he is a member of the design services team. He helps with customer service or warranty related questions, which includes parts inquiries, estimates, sales orders, and warranty claims. Brian enjoys grilling, camping, canoeing, spending time with his wife, Kirstin, and daughter, Marley.

Brooke Chilovich
Warranty Administrator
Brooke Chilovich is the Warranty Administrator at GeoComfort. She is responsible for warranty program management, implementation, continuous improvement, and ongoing daily processing. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Jac, and daughter, Emma, traveling, cooking, and being outdoors whether it is at the park, golfing, fishing or grilling.
Denise Jackson
Customer Service Representative

Denise Jackson is a Customer Service Representative at GeoComfort. She spends much of her time handling freight claims, helping geothermal contractors with estimates, orders, and tracking information for shipments, and she assists with our annual dealer meeting. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, riding bikes, running, and being with family and friends.

Ky Stoecklin
Customer Service Representative

Ky Stoecklin is a Customer Service Representative at GeoComfort, and he is a member of the geothermal design team. Ky helps installers by creating estimates, taking orders, and relaying shipping and tracking information. In his free time, Ky enjoys golfing, bowling, and spending time with his family.

Customer Service Representative
Kristin Wasmuth is a Customer Service Representative at GeoComfort. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, daughter, Marley, and their dog, Pixie. Her favorite activities include bonfires, camping, and hanging out with her friends, all while having a few cold ones.
TERI ALLEN
CUSTOMER RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE
Teri Allen is a Customer Relations Representative who works daily to assist home and building owners by explaining the benefits of geothermal heat pumps. Teri enjoys spending time with her husband of 25 years, three boys and two dogs, friends, and extended family, and she loves going to the beach!
CASEY THIEMS
CUSTOMER RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE
Casey Thiems is a Customer Relations Representative who provides support to both home and building owners to help them better understand the advantages of geothermal heat pumps. When she isn’t assisting customers, she enjoys working with her family on their grain and livestock farm, chowing down on chips and queso with friends, and dancing the night away to local country bands.

Angelique Wood
Design Services Specialist
Angelique Wood is part of the Design Services team at GeoComfort. She creates and designs geothermal heat pumps and PV solar systems for residential and commercial customers. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Robert, and son, Jackson, hanging with friends, Jeeping, and most recently, golfing.
Brian Staley
Publisher
Brian Staley is the Publisher at GeoComfort. He works with various internal offices developing Installation Manuals, Submittals, Price Lists, and other various Technical Documents that assist with the Enertech Sales Team and customers. Brian enjoys adventures with his family, visiting new places, biking, and playing guitar.
Jeremy Vonder Haar
Design Services Specialist
Jeremy Vonder Haar is part of the Design Services Team. He creates and designs geothermal heat pump and PV solar systems for customers, as well as helping to answer any questions they may have relating to solar and geothermal. He enjoys helping on his family’s farm when he’s able to and traveling to visit his friends.
Jim Strandlund
Technical services specialist
Jim Strandlund is a technical service representative for GeoComfort. Jim formally owned Strandlund Refrigeration, Heating and Cooling and has over 35 years in the Refrigeration industry with over 25 years of Geothermal experience. Jim was a founding member and first president of the MNGHPA and also is an IGSHPA certified inspector, designer, installer and trainer. Jim loves outdoor activities including modern, antique, vintage snowmobiles and utv riding.
John Pendleton
Senior Trainer/Technical Specialist
John Pendleton is the Senior Trainer/Technical Specialist at GeoComfort. John handles all technician trainings and curriculum as well as on-site unit startup, site visits, and warranty issues. John is a 3rd generation HVAC technician with over 25 years in the industry. John enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
Kipp Westrum
Senior Technical Services Representative
Kipp Westrum is a Senior Technical Services Representative at GeoComfort. Kipp has been in the HVAC industry since 1985 and been working with Geothermal for 33 years. Kipp has been involved with Installing, servicing and designing Geothermal Heat Pump systems his entire career. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family and outdoor activities, hunting, motorcycling, skiing, and Snowmobiling.
Rob Shaulis
Technical Services Specialist
Rob Shaulis is a technical service representative at GeoComfort. Rob has worn many hats in the Geothermal industry, working in design, manufacturing, servicing, and installing since 1980. In his spare time he enjoys motorcycling and ATV riding with his family and grandchildren.
Tom Einhorn
Technical Services Specialist
Tom Einhorn is a Technical Services Specialist for GeoComfort. Since 2008, Tom has been helping with geothermal installations, service/repairs, and helping with the engineering test lab. Tom has been in the HVAC industry since 1974. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren and motorcycling.

Kyle Smith
Solar Sales and Energy Storage Manager
Kyle Smith is the Solar Sales and Energy Storage Manager for GeoComfort. Kyle helps installers, home, and building owners with full solar education and designs to meet their needs and oversees the PV solar sales and design department. Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife, two kids, family, and friends hanging out on the lake.
BRENNA MULLINS
Solar Incentive Administrator
Brenna Mullins is a Solar Incentive Administrator who manages various aspects of the PV solar incentive program, including incentive processes, working closely with installers and consumers, and implementation of process improvement best practices. Brenna is a published author and recording artist. She loves to play the piano and sing, and assist her daughter’s endeavors with her non-profit charity, radio internship, volunteerism projects, sports, activities as a scholarship pageant titleholder, and conducting interviews on her live radio podcast.
ZACH SLATTON
Solar Sales Assistant/Solar Technician
Zach Slatton is the Solar sales assistant and solar technician for GeoComfort. Zach helps with technical specifications, proposing, and designing for solar PV systems & battery storage in residential and commercial applications. He is very educated in electrical and helps with job site installation training and education to aid for a speedy production. Zach is also expanding his knowledge in geothermal and heat pumps. Zach enjoys working on his automotive projects and loves spending time with family and friends.
