Steve Smith
President and CEO
Steve Smith is the President and CEO of GeoComfort. He is an advocate for the geothermal industry, serving as a member of the Geothermal Exchange Organization, participating in speaking engagements, and sharing his expertise in articles. His favorite place to be is in the field helping with an installation. Steve enjoys spending time with family, tackling projects on the family farm, riding his motorcycle, and snow and water skiing.
Dan Jackson
Dan Jackson is the Chief Operating Officer and oversees GeoComfort’s manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and engineering departments. His career in HVAC began in 1990 working with large industrial chillers and boilers. He also has almost 30 years of manufacturing experience. In his down time, Dan enjoys traveling with his wife, working on muscle cars, water skiing, wakeboarding, and snowboarding.
Tim Wright
Tim Wright is the Chief Strategy Officer at GeoComfort. With over 30 years of management and energy efficiency experience, Tim oversees all customer facing departments at GeoComfort. He serves on the board of directors for California Geothermal Heat Pump Association, International Ground Source Heat Pump Association, and the Virginia Geothermal Heat Pump Association. Tim is passionate about customer interaction and building new relationships in the industry. Tim is active in his local community, and he and his wife enjoy time with their two daughters, a son-in-law, and their first grandson.
Bradley Lanter
Bradley W. Lanter is the Chief Financial Officer at GeoComfort. He is responsible for overall financial management, strategic planning, financial reporting, and lends direction to, and is responsible for, oversight of the I.T. department. He enjoys traveling, spending time with his wife and two kids, and playing just about any sport.
Jason Bronson

Jason Bronson is the Controller at GeoComfort. His duties include budgeting, forecasting, and essentially knowing the ins and outs of many parts of the company. In his free time, you'll find Jason watching Cardinals games and spending time with his family. 

Maurice Powers
IT Director
Maurice Powers is the IT Director at GeoComfort. He manages IT systems and various IT projects to help streamline work for employees and customers, so they can better serve end users of GeoComfort geothermal heat pumps. In his downtime, Maurice enjoys traveling, meeting people, fishing, scuba diving, and taking walks with his family.


Ed Davis
Vice President of Sales
Ed Davis is the Vice President of Sales at GeoComfort and has been an invaluable part of our team since 2008! Ed has a wealth of experience and knowledge to share, and currently manages our Sales, Customer Relations, and Field Training. More than anything, Ed values the relationships he's nurtured over the years and enjoys direct involvement with many of our partners on a day-to-day basis. If you happen to catch Ed outside of work, he's probably spending time with his wife, Kristie, and their 3 children and new granddaughter, getting involved with his home church, or in his shop working on an ever-growing list of projects.
Jeff Lawrence
Director of Commercial Accounts

Jeff Lawrence is GeoComfort's Director of Commercial Accounts. He assists geothermal installers and commercial representatives. In his down time, Jeff can be found with his family and their family racing team. 

Andy Leiter
Territory manager
Andy Leiter is the Territory Manager for Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Northern Iowa. He is a prior contractor with vast knowledge in many aspects of the HVAC industry, spending the last 14 years working exclusively with geothermal designs and installations. Outside of work, Andy enjoys spending time with his family, along with snowmobiling, boating, skiing, and watching sports.
Brian Pitcher
Territory Manager
Brian is the Territory Manager for Illinois. He is focused on growing GeoComfort's footprint in his home state through customer focused support. He enjoys spending time with his wife, watching their two small boys play baseball and soccer, and spending time with family and friends. In his down time he likes to hunt, watch football, work on classic cars, and work around the house.
Bryce Anderson
Territory Manager
Bryce Anderson has been in the HVAC industry since 2004 when he was immediately introduced to geothermal. He has both sold and installed geothermal and been a vertical loop driller. In the summers Bryce enjoys weekends at his lake house, and in the fall time, he enjoys hunting and spending time in nature. Bryce also likes to spend time with friends and family and watching college football.
Justin Jobe
Sales & Field Applications Engineer
Justin Jobe is the Sales and Field Applications Engineer. He travels throughout the US assisting with advanced installations. He is also the territory manager for the west coast, supporting geothermal contractors and preparing quotes and orders. Justin enjoys watching motor sports and football games and doing his wife’s bidding for the hobby farm they have started together with their son and daughter.
Ron Wright
Regional Sales Manager - Canada

Ron Wright is the Regional Sales Manager in Canada and operates by the philosophy that our customers are our everything. Ron is happily married to his best friend, Natasha. Together, they have three sons and one daughter.  Ron is a sports nut, with his favorite sports being hockey, lacrosse, baseball, football, and auto racing.

Scott Jarrell
Territory Manager

Scott Jarrell is a Territory Manager for GeoComfort. He focuses on growing the industry by supporting new and existing customers to ensure they have the tools available that allows them to grow in their markets. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, kayak fishing, and is involved in his church.


Pancho Eppard
Marketing Director

Pancho Eppard is the Marketing Director GeoComfort. He manages the creation of content to help home and building owners and contractors learn more about geothermal. He provides creative direction for literature, web assets, photography, and videography. Pancho enjoys living in Greenville with his wife, Emma, and three kids, Philip, Layla, and Parker.

Bethany Marsch
Content Creator
Bethany Marsch is the Content Creator at GeoComfort. She manages and produces digital content to generate leads, aid in expanding materials for our products, and creatively keeps our customers informed. In her free time she enjoys traveling, crafting, thrift store shopping, and beating her husband at Mario Kart.
Carley Fletcher
Marketing and Events Strategist

Carley Fletcher is the Marketing and Events Strategist at GeoComfort. She manages event coordination for tradeshows and trainings, branding support, and helps create marketing content to assist home and building owners on their geothermal and solar journey. Carley enjoys traveling and being active with her family.

Brian Wasmuth is the Customer Solutions Director here at GeoComfort. He oversees Customer Service, Warranty, Parts, Product Management, and Publishing to help ensure the best customer experience. Brian enjoys grilling, camping, canoeing, and spending time with his wife Kristin and daughter Marley.
Amanda Parker
Customer Service Representative
Amanda Parker is a Customer Service Representative at GeoComfort. She assists our customers with placing orders, price quotes, and communicating tracking information. Outside of work Amanda enjoys hanging out with her family, relaxing, and shopping.
Bob Heitzig
Customer Relations Representative
Bob Heitzig is a Customer Relations Representative at GeoComfort. He holds down the front desk at our offices and makes sure that customers and homeowners who contact us get exactly the help they need. When not at work, he loves spending time with family, especially his first grandchild, as well as fishing and working in the yard.
Denise Jackson
Customer Service Manager
Denise Jackson is the Customer Service Manager at GeoComfort. She spends much of her time handling freight claims, helping geothermal contractors with estimates, orders, tracking information for shipments, daily inventory/order progress and she assists with our annual dealer meeting. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, riding bikes, running, and being with family and friends.
Kallie Utlaut
Warranty Administrator
Kallie Utlaut is a Warranty Administrator at GeoComfort. She communicates with our customers regarding warranty questions and assists them with placing orders under warranty, providing tracking information, price estimates, and processing warranty claims. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, being outdoors, reading, and watching new movies and tv shows.
Kelli Davis
Customer Service Representative

Kelli Davis is a Customer Service Representative at GeoComfort. Kelli helps customers by creating estimates, placing orders, and communicating shipping and tracking information. In her free time, she enjoys watching St Louis Blues hockey, going on walks, and adventuring with family. 

Kristin Wasmuth
Warranty Administrator
Kristin Wasmuth is the Warranty Administrator at GeoComfort. She processes warranty claims, places warranty orders, communicates warranty information to customers, and is responsible for warranty program management. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, daughter, Marley, and their dog, Pixie. Her favorite activities include bonfires, camping, and hanging out with her friends, all while having a few cold ones.
Teri Allen
Teri Allen is a Customer Relations Lead at GeoComfort who works daily to assist home and building owners by explaining the benefits of geothermal heat pumps. Teri enjoys spending time with her husband of 25 years, three boys and two dogs, friends, and extended family, and she loves going to the beach!

Kipp Westrum
Technical Services Manager
Kipp Westrum is the Manager of the Design Services, Technical Support, Training and Product Literature Departments at GeoComfort. He oversees and helps with the day-to-day operations of these departments. Kipp has been in the HVAC and geothermal industry for over 36 years and has been involved with installing, servicing, and designing Geothermal Heat Pump systems his entire career. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and outdoor activities, hunting, motorcycling, skiing, and snowmobiling.
Jim Cusack
Special Projects Manager
Jim Cusack is a Special Projects Manager at GeoComfort. He is a certified, IGSHPA accredited, geothermal trainer and installer, and he is the VP of the Minnesota Geothermal Heat Pump Association. Jim enjoys spending time with his wife, Chris, and their two dogs, Simon and Schuster.
Jim Strandlund
Technical services specialist
Jim Strandlund is a technical service representative for GeoComfort. Jim formally owned Strandlund Refrigeration, Heating and Cooling and has over 35 years in the Refrigeration industry with over 25 years of Geothermal experience. Jim was a founding member and first president of the MNGHPA and also is an IGSHPA certified inspector, designer, installer and trainer. Jim loves outdoor activities including modern, antique, vintage snowmobiles and utv riding.
John Pendleton
Senior Trainer/Technical Specialist
John Pendleton is the Senior Trainer/Technical Specialist at GeoComfort. John handles all technician trainings and curriculum as well as on-site unit startup, site visits, and warranty issues. John is a 3rd generation HVAC technician with over 25 years in the industry. John enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
Rob Shaulis
Technical Services Specialist
Rob Shaulis is a technical service representative at GeoComfort. Rob has worn many hats in the Geothermal industry, working in design, manufacturing, servicing, and installing since 1980. In his spare time he enjoys motorcycling and ATV riding with his family and grandchildren.
Jeremy Vonder Haar
Interim Product Manager
Jeremy Vonder Haar is an Interim Product Manager at GeoComfort. He helps to look after our various Heat Pump unit lines, geothermal accessories, solar product, and our web-based design software. He is responsible for helping to determine product offerings, developing literature, and coordinating with our sales team on product updates and changes. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys playing golf with his friends, spending time with family, and helping out on his family’s farm.

Design Services & Solar Solutions

Solar Incentive Administrator
Brenna Mullins is a Solar Incentive Administrator who manages various aspects of the PV solar incentive program, including incentive processes, working closely with installers and consumers, and implementation of process improvement best practices. Brenna is a published author and recording artist. She loves to play the piano and sing, and assist her daughter’s endeavors with her non-profit charity, radio internship, volunteerism projects, sports, activities as a scholarship pageant titleholder, and conducting interviews on her live radio podcast.
Joni Sanders
Solar Design Associate
Joni Sanders is the Solar Design Associate at GeoComfort. She works with customers to create solar designs that reduce energy costs. Joni enjoys camping and traveling with her husband and three kids for leisure. She is a self-proclaimed, crafty cat lady who loves to create all sorts of things, especially if they can be tie-dyed.
Kirn Wildhaber
Solar Design Lead Specialist
Kirn Wildhaber is the Solar Design Lead Specialist at GeoComfort focusing on solar project design. He has spent much of his time with Enertech in HVAC design and has turned his focus to solar design. His role consists of connecting with solar installers, assisting with installations, and helping the solar design team with fulfilling solar design requests. He holds an ETA® International Photovoltaic Installer – Level 1 certification. In his free time, Kirn enjoys spending time with his family of five, fishing, water skiing, and hunting.
Tiffany Smith
Solar Design and Incentives Assistant
Tiffany Smith is a Solar Design and Incentives Assistant at GeoComfort. She guides Illinois solar consumers through the SREC program, which awards incentives for installing PV solar arrays. She also assists our customers with solar designs. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children. In addition she stays busy between attending sporting events and volunteering at her church and children’s school.
